Our friendly staff are here to serve you a wide range of traditional hand pulled beers, regulars include Theakstons Best, XB, Old Pec, Pedigree, London Pride, & two Copperdragon brews, we also have three weekly guest ales & a great selection of draught, bottled lagers and ciders.
If live music is your thing then Wed night & Sat nights are a must, the best bands around play from 9pm & will keep your feet tapping untill the witching hour, but If you like your music a little more refined then our Sunday jazz sessions from 4pm wil suit you to a tee.
If all this music gets you in the mood to try it yourself then come along to our jam night with Stevo from Real Time Music on the last Tuesday of every month everyone is welcome whether you are a singer or a budding musician come & give it a go!
Perhaps you are more of a thinker, then our general knowledge quiz on a Sunday night or our music quiz on Thursday nights from about 9pm could be right up your street and for the sports fanatic we have all the sky sports you could wish for on big screens & tvs throughout.
Here at The Oak we try and cater for every one young & old, & there is a play area for the kids outside & a large seating area (covered & heated) to accomodate the smokers amoung us.
